Cost is one of the biggest reasons people delay dental care — often longer than they should. Understanding what's actually available can make a treatment plan feel a lot more manageable than the sticker price initially suggests.
Dental insurance
If you have dental insurance, it typically covers preventive care fully or nearly fully, with partial coverage for restorative and major work up to an annual maximum. It's worth having your benefits verified before treatment so you know your real out-of-pocket cost, not just a general estimate.
Third-party financing
For larger treatment plans — implants, full smile makeovers, and similar work — financing programs let you spread the cost over monthly payments, sometimes with 0% interest for qualified applicants. Applying typically takes just a few minutes and, done through the right channel, doesn't require a hard credit check just to see your options.
In-house payment plans
Many practices, including ours, can also work with you directly on a payment structure for treatment, depending on the scope of work involved.
The most important step
Have the cost conversation before you commit to treatment, not after. A transparent practice will walk through your options and give you real numbers in writing — you shouldn't have to guess.
